Import of sets of hand tools put up in sets for retail sale to Burundi: Growth in 2016

In 2016 construction equipment import went up strongly by 144.26%, according to figures announced by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable greatly rose from 7 942 kilogram to 19 399 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it grew by 2.84 percent. Burundi saw a growth of 3 749.01% in construction equipment import during the last 24 years. Though, it has shown a negative CAGR of 0.06 percent during the five years with a negligible overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 10 693.25 kilogram from 1993 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 54 140 kilogram in 2010 and record low of 504 kilogram in 1993.
