Export of sacks and bags, having a base of a width of 40 cm or more from Costa Rica: Rise in 2016

The variable slightly increased by 1.1% compared with the previous year, according to data released by United Nations Statistical Office. Consumer goods export grew hardly from 3 748 025 US Dollar in 2015 to 3 789 096 US Dollar prior year, contrarily to the previous year when it decreased by 26.94 percent. Costa Rica saw a growth of 187.41% in consumer goods export during the last 23 years. However, it has attained a decline at a 0.06 percent average annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a negligible overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 3 466 039.78 US Dollar from 1994 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 5 485 855 US Dollar in 2013 and record low of 1 318 343 US Dollar in 1994.
