New vehicles registrations in Thailand: Rise in 2017

OICA announced that vehicle registration increased by 13.62% compared with the previous year. The indicator rose by 104 718, in comparison to the prior year when it decreased by 3.86 percent. The overall changes for the previous 13 years attained a raise of 26.14%. Still it has attained a decrease at a 0.08% average annual growth rate over the last five years with a marginal overall growth since the 2005. It averaged 833 479.08 from 2005 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 1 423 580 in 2012 and record low of 548 870 in 2009.
