Export of railway passenger and special purpose coaches from Latvia goes down in 2016

Compared to the prior year the indicator declined sharply by 90.96%, according to refreshed numbers released by United Nations Statistical Office. Railway transport export diminished strongly from 2 290 720 kilogram in 2015 to 207 000 kilogram previous year, versus the prior year when it went up by 605.49%. Latvia saw a decrease of 60.34% in railway transport export during the last 23 years. Besides, it has attained a negative CAGR of 0.29 percent over the 5 years with a marginal overall diminution since the start of observations. It averaged 912 318 kilogram from 1994 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 4 092 800 kilogram in 1997 and record low of 78 500 kilogram in 1999.
