Fuel oil consumption in extraction of petroleum and natural gas in China: Growth in 2015

In comparison to the previous year the indicator strongly went up by 36.29%, according to adjusted data announced by China National Statistical Office. Fuel oil consumption grew sharply from 20.89 ten thousand metric ton to 28.47 ten thousand metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it rose by 8.8 percent. The overall changes for the previous 16 years attained a decrease of 85.96%. Besides, the fuel oil consumption is now lower than its average which equals 70.78 ten thousand metric ton and the variable illustrates a modest overall diminution since the start of time series. It reached its all-time high of 210.52 ten thousand metric ton in 2001 and record low of 13.27 ten thousand metric ton in 2012.
