Import of yarn of synthetic staple fibres packaged for retail sale to Bulgaria goes down in 2017

In comparison with 2016 yarn import went down slightly by 3.8 percent, according to updated figures issued by European Commission. The indicator hardly declined by 25 260 Euro, compared to the prior year when it went up by 22.76%. Bulgaria saw a growth of 56.35% in yarn import during the last 10 years. Though, it has shown a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.02 percent over the five years with a negligible overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 506 173 Euro from 2008 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 705 760 Euro in 2013 and record low of 278 210 Euro in 2010.
