Export of yarn of synthetic staple fibres not packaged for retail sale from Lithuania goes down in 2017

European Commission published that yarn export decreased by 17.33 percent compared with 2016. The indicator dropped from 5 702 470 Euro to 4 713 980 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went down by 12.04%. It shows the all-time minimum since 2003. Lithuania saw a decrease of 38.55% in yarn export during the last 15 years. Likewise, it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.12% over the last 5 years with a negligible overall diminution since the 2003. It averaged 7 980 874.67 Euro from 2003 to 2017 and it hit its maximum of 11 312 980 Euro in 2006.
