Export of yarn of synthetic staple fibres not packaged for retail sale from Lithuania decreases in 2016

In 2016 yarn export diminished by 12.04%, adjusted figures from European Commission reveal. The indicator dropped by 780 560 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 17.86%. It's new all-time low since 2003. Lithuania saw a decrease of 25.67% in yarn export over the past 14 years. Furthermore, it has shown a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.09% during the 5 years with a negligible overall diminution since the start of observations. It averaged 8 214 224.29 Euro from 2003 to 2016 and it reached its maximum of 11 312 980 Euro in 2006.
