Export of multiple (folded) or cabled cotton yarn of uncombed fibres containing less than 85% by weight of cotton, measuring per single yarn 232-192 decitex from Greece: Rise in 2016

Cotton export sharply increased by 116.63 percent compared with the prior year, according to numbers issued by United Nations Statistical Office. Cotton export climbed greatly from 908 kilogram in 2015 to 1 967 kilogram previous year, in comparison with the prior year when it decreased by 79.17 percent. The overall changes for the previous 29 years hit a diminution of 56.29%. Likewise, it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.06% during the last five years with a negligible overall decrease since the start of time series. It averaged 2 237.14 kilogram from 1988 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 22 335 kilogram in 1989 and record low of 50 kilogram in 1996.
