Export of multiple (folded) or cabled cotton yarn of uncombed fibres containing less than 85% by weight of cotton, measuring per single yarn 232-192 decitex from Greece: Increase in 2016

According to adjusted numbers published by United Nations Statistical Office, cotton export grew sharply by 116.63 percent in 2016. The variable greatly went up by 1 059 kilogram, contrarily to the previous year when it fell by 79.17 percent. The overall changes for the prior 29 years hit a drop of 56.29%. Besides, it has had a decrease at a 0.06 percent CAGR during the five years with a negligible overall diminution since the start of time series. It averaged 2 237.14 kilogram from 1988 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 22 335 kilogram in 1989 and record low of 50 kilogram in 1996.
