Import of flat-rolled products of iron or non-alloy steel of a width 150 mm - 600 mm and a thickness more than 4 mm to Denmark decreases in 2017

European Commission announced that compared to the same time an year ago steel import hardly went down by 4.76 percent. Steel import declined negligibly from 5 811 200 kilogram in 2016 to 5 534 400 kilogram previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it decreased by 19.77%. Denmark saw a drop of 73.06% in steel import during the last 10 years. Besides, it has shown the compound annual growth rate of 0.02 percent over the last 5 years with a negligible overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 7 857 110 kilogram from 2008 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 20 546 100 kilogram in 2008 and record low of 5 084 300 kilogram in 2013.
