Re-export of palm oil or fractions simply refined from Hong Kong declines in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office published that the indicator fell greatly by 48.29% in comparison to the same time an year ago. The variable sharply declined from 513 569 kilogram to 265 550 kilogram, versus the previous year when it increased by 56.33%. Hong Kong saw a drop of 99.35% in palm oil export over the past 25 years. Besides, it has had a fall at a 0.03% compound annual growth rate over the last five years with a modest overall decrease since the start of time series. It averaged 55 237 444.88 kilogram from 1993 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 276 697 824 kilogram in 1996 and record low of 127 060 kilogram in 2012.
