Sold production of fresh or chilled cuts of turkey in Hungary: Fall in 2017

Sold production of fresh or chilled cuts of turkey decreased by 10.8% in 2017, according to numbers announced by European Commission. The variable declined from 37 720 000 kilogram in 2016 to 33 648 000 kilogram previous year, in contrast to the prior year when it grew by 6.26 percent. Hungary saw a diminution of 6.2% in sold production of fresh or chilled cuts of turkey during the last 17 years. Moreover, it has attained a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.01% over the 5 years with a modest overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 37 909 705.88 kilogram from 2001 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 45 682 000 kilogram in 2004 and record low of 30 690 000 kilogram in 2006.
