Import of cotton yarn to Cyprus: Decrease in 2017

In comparison with the prior year cotton yarn import went down sharply by 57.83 percent, according to numbers published by European Commission. It's new all-time low since 2005 as the indicator declined strongly from 77 250 Euro to 32 580 Euro, contrarily to the previous year when it went up by 22.52%. Cyprus saw a fall of 90.45% in cotton yarn import over the past 13 years. Likewise, it has shown a decline at a 0.14% average annual growth rate during the five years with a marginal overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 117 722.31 Euro from 2005 to 2017 and it attained its maximum of 341 240 Euro in 2005.
