Import of medical needles, catheters, cannulae to Mexico: Decrease in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office published that in 2017 medical device import declined by 10.59 percent. Medical device import dropped from 19 448 200 kilogram in 2016 to 17 389 190 kilogram previous year, contrarily to the prior year when it climbed by 12.01%. Mexico saw a rise of 79.95% in medical device import over the past 28 years. Still it has attained a decrease at a 0.03 percent average annual growth rate over the last five years with a marginal overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 42 067 907.86 kilogram from 1990 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 818 541 184 kilogram in 2004 and record low of 2 112 159 kilogram in 1995.
