Nickel metal consumption in electroplating, sales to platers manufacturing in United States climbs in 2013

According to numbers released by U.S. Geological Survey, in comparison with the prior year nickel consumption grew by 20.77 percent. The variable increased from 6 980 metric ton in 2012 to 8 430 metric ton previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it climbed by 1.01 percent. United States saw a diminution of 31.46% in nickel consumption during the last 12 years. Likewise, it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.06 percent over the five years with a slight overall drop since the 2002. It averaged 9 810.83 metric ton from 2002 to 2013 and it reached its all-time high of 12 300 metric ton in 2002 and record low of 6 910 metric ton in 2011.
