Gas and diesel import in Slovakia rises in June 2018

Gas and diesel oil import slightly increased by 4.45% in comparison with the previous month, according to numbers issued by JODI Data. The variable grew hardly by 1 thousand barrels per day, as it follows the tendency of the prior month when it rose by 12.5 percent. The figures hit 24.37 thousand barrels per day in June 2017, which is a -7.09 percent variation compared with the prior month of the same year. When looking at the year-on-year setting, a -4.08% fall can be diagnosed between June 2017 and the same month in 2018. Slovakia saw a raise of 304.76% in gas and diesel oil import during the last 16 years. As well as the gas and diesel oil import is now bigger than its average which equals 12.19 thousand barrels per day with a overall rise since the start of observations. It reached its all-time high of 26.23 thousand barrels per day in May 2017 and record low of 2.17 thousand barrels per day in August 2003.
