Sales of fresh or chilled fish fillets and other fish meat without bones in Spain: Rise in 2016

European Commission published that fish sales went up negligibly by 3.4% in 2016. Fish sales barely rose from 17 201.77 thousand kilograms to 17 787.21 thousand kilograms, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it climbed by 6.86 percent. Spain saw a increase of 597.58% in fish sales during the last 22 years. As well as it has had a 0.03% compound annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a slight overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 12 121.39 thousand kilograms from 1995 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 21 736.24 thousand kilograms in 2009 and record low of 2 549.84 thousand kilograms in 1995.
