Retail sales of sporting and leisure products in Canada climbs in 4Q 2017

Sporting and leisure products, sales increased by 23.85 percent in comparison with the prior quarter, revised data from Canada National Statistical Office show. Sporting and leisure products, sales climbed by 938 897 thousand Canadian Dollars, as it follows the tendency of the previous quarter when it went up by 4.35 percent. In Q4 2016, the indicator grew by 24.03 percent and hit 5 073 694 thousand Canadian Dollars. This highlights a -3.89 percent variation between Q4 2016 and the same quarter in 2017.
