Import of sets of articles of mixed types of pens or pencils to Dominican Republic goes up in 2016

Consumer goods import strongly went up by 157.32 percent in 2016, updated numbers from United Nations Statistical Office pinpoint. The indicator climbed greatly by 129 kilogram, contrarily to the prior year when it dropped by 80.24 percent. The overall changes for the previous 15 years reached a decline of 85.68%. Likewise, it has shown a drop at a 0.4 percent average annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a modest overall decrease since the start of observations. It averaged 1 150.87 kilogram from 2002 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 5 911 kilogram in 2011 and record low of 82 kilogram in 2015.
