Sales of margarine and reduced and low fat spreads in Belgium drops in 2016

Compared with the prior year the indicator went down slightly by 4.52%, according to revised figures presented by European Commission. The variable negligibly dropped by 8 584.48 thousand kilograms, versus the previous year when it went up by 29.12%. The overall changes for the prior 21 years hit a diminution of 26.83%. As well as the spreads sales is now smaller than its average which equals 199 317.93 thousand kilograms and the indicator highlights a negligible overall decline since the start of time series. It reached its all-time high of 264 991.88 thousand kilograms in 2005 and record low of 147 064.52 thousand kilograms in 2014.
