Soybean production in Paraguay drops in 2017

The indicator decreased by 11.86 percent in 2017, refreshed numbers from U.S. Department of Agriculture show. Soybean production diminished by 1 265 thousand tonnes, contrarily to the prior year when it increased by 15.71%. The overall changes for the previous 54 years reached an increase of 52 122.22%. As well as it has had a rise at a 0.03% compound annual growth rate over the last 5 years with a negligible overall raise since the 1964. It averaged 2 671.44 thousand tonnes from 1964 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 10 665 thousand tonnes in 2016 and record low of 12 thousand tonnes in 1965.
