Import of flat plate, sheet, strip of refined copper to Namibia: Decrease in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office reported that compared to the prior year copper import sharply declined by 91.89%. The variable greatly fell by 7 035 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it decreased by 69.56 percent. It reveals the all-time minimum since 2000. Namibia saw a drop of 91.9% in copper import over the past 17 years. Moreover, it has had a decrease at a 0.26 percent CAGR during the last five years with a marginal overall raise since the start of observations. It averaged 9 358.24 kilogram from 2000 to 2016 and it hit its maximum of 37 613 kilogram in 2008.
