Import of yarn of artificial staple fibres not packaged for retail sale to Lithuania: Increase in 2016

According to statistics issued by European Commission, yarn import went up sharply by 33.23% in comparison with one year earlier. Yarn import greatly rose from 1 636 070 Euro in 2015 to 2 179 690 Euro prior year, compared to the previous year when it declined by 0.99%. The overall changes for the prior 14 years attained a rise of 86.43%. Moreover, it has attained a raise at a 0.03% average annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a slight overall increase since the start of observations. It averaged 1 687 635 Euro from 2003 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 2 573 880 Euro in 2013 and record low of 801 160 Euro in 2004.
