Import of frozen swine edible offal to Romania: Raise in 2017

Compared with the previous year pork import increased by 19.73 percent, according to statistics presented by United Nations Statistical Office. Pork import went up from 6 740 738 kilogram in 2016 to 8 070 454 kilogram prior year, in comparison with the previous year when it diminished by 24.31 percent. The overall changes for the prior 27 years hit a raise of 42 376.07%. However, it has shown a negative average annual growth rate of 0.05% over the 5 years with a slight overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 8 156 718.52 kilogram from 1991 to 2017 and it attained its all-time high of 28 622 784 kilogram in 2006 and record low of 19 000 kilogram in 1993.
