Import of manganese dioxide to Sri Lanka: Growth in 2017

In comparison with the year before manganese dioxide import grew greatly by 173.8%, refreshed statistics from United Nations Statistical Office highlight. The variable rose strongly by 54 051.3 kilogram, in contrast to the prior year when it diminished by 67.43%. Sri Lanka saw a fall of 95.7% in manganese dioxide import during the last 28 years. Besides, it has attained a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.19 percent over the last 5 years with a marginal overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 731 206.83 kilogram from 1990 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 1 979 272 kilogram in 1990 and record low of 31 100 kilogram in 2016.
