Limestone quarries in United States: Decrease in 2015

According to numbers announced by U.S. Geological Survey, compared with the prior year the indicator barely declined by 1.04 percent. Limestone production dropped negligibly from 1 930 in 2014 to 1 910 previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it fell by 1.93 percent. The overall changes for the previous 15 years reached a drop of 2.4%. As well as it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.01% during the five years with a negligible overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 2 010.4 from 2001 to 2015 and it hit its all-time high of 2 250 in 2008 and record low of 1 855 in 2003.
