Import of medicaments containing hormones but not antibiotics for therapeutic or prophylactic uses, not put up in measured doses or for retail sale to Estonia: Fall in 2016

In comparison to the previous year hormones import strongly declined by 91.59%, refreshed numbers from European Commission show. The indicator decreased sharply from 86 670 Euro to 7 290 Euro, compared with the prior year when it grew by 46.4%. Estonia saw a decrease of 98.92% in hormones import during the last 17 years. Moreover, it has shown the average annual growth rate of 1.41 percent over the last five years with a modest overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 52 861.76 Euro from 2000 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 674 320 Euro in 2000 and record low of 90 Euro in 2012.
