Import of refined copper wire of more than 6 mm wide to Russia: Raise in 2017

The variable strongly rose by 34 percent compared with the prior year, according to data issued by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator grew greatly by 621 153.5 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it increased by 58.26%. Russia saw a diminution of 77.3% in copper import during the last 22 years. Besides, it has attained a 0.02% compound annual growth rate during the last 5 years with a slight overall decline since the 1996. It averaged 4 845 425.61 kilogram from 1996 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 25 619 840 kilogram in 1997 and record low of 624 943 kilogram in 2005.
