Medicine and toileteries retail sales in Japan climbs in 2017

According to updated data published by Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, medicine and toileteries retail sales hardly went up by 2.61% in comparison with the year before. It reveals the all-time high since 2011 as the variable barely rose from 9 450 billion Japanese Yen to 9 697 billion Japanese Yen, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it grew by 1.22%. Japan saw a growth of 14.42% in medicine and toileteries retail sales during the last 7 years. As well as it has had a rise at a 0.02 percent average annual growth rate over the 5 years with a negligible overall raise since the start of time series. It averaged 9 061.43 billion Japanese Yen from 2011 to 2017 and it attained its minimum of 8 475 billion Japanese Yen in 2011.
