Hybrid electric vehicle registrations in Netherlands decreases in 4Q 2017

According to numbers published by European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, electric vehicle registration went down by 5.95 percent in 4th quarter 2017. The variable decreased from 4 523 to 4 254, contrarily to the previous quarter when it grew by 6.25 percent. When looking at the year before, it can be observed that the indicator was growing by 44.43 percent and diagnosed 4 187 number. Between Q4 2016 and the same quarter the year after, the variable pinpoints a 1.6% fluctuation. Netherlands saw a growth of 3.73% in electric vehicle registration over the past 3 years. Likewise, the electric vehicle registration is now greater than its average which equals 3 725 with a marginal overall rise since the start of observations. It reached its all-time high of 7 553 in Q4 of 2015 and record low of 1 736 in 1Q 2016.
