Hybrid electric vehicle registrations in Netherlands: Decline in 2Q 2018

In comparison with Q1 2018 the indicator fell hardly by 3.62%, according to revised statistics announced by European Automobile Manufacturers' Association. Electric vehicle registration declined slightly by 233, in contrast to the prior quarter when it grew by 51.34%. One year earlier, the variable was diminishing by -16.96 percent and reached 4 250 number in Q2. When taking into account the year-on-year situation, a 46 percent rise can be diagnosed between Q2 2017 and the same quarter one year later. The overall changes for the previous 4 years attained a raise of 51.3%. Furthermore, the electric vehicle registration is now higher than its average which equals 4 040.06 with a marginal overall growth since the 2014. It hit its all-time high of 7 553 in Q4 of 2015 and record low of 1 736 in 1Q 2016.
