Import of multiple (folded) or cabled cotton yarn of combed fibres containing less than 85% by weight of cotton, measuring per single yarn 192-125 decitex to Europe: Growth in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office announced that in comparison to the previous year the variable went up greatly by 61.22%. Cotton import strongly grew by 290 875 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it climbed by 67.93%. It's new all-time maximum since 2000. Europe saw an increase of 26.51% in cotton import over the past 18 years. Besides, it has had a 0.48 percent compound average annual growth rate over the 5 years with a modest overall decrease since the start of observations. It averaged 321 707.61 kilogram from 2000 to 2017 and it hit its minimum of 86 100 kilogram in 2009.
