Export of prepared and preserved fish, crustaceans and molluscs from Ireland: Increase in 2016

European Commission announced that seafood export grew by 5.12 percent in 2016. It highlights the all-time maximum since 2008 as seafood export went up from 58 377 168 Euro to 61 364 960 Euro, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it rose by 17.92%. Ireland saw an increase of 34.49% in seafood export over the past 9 years. As well as it has attained a 0.04% compound average annual growth rate over the last five years with a slight overall rise since the 2008. It averaged 45 951 619.11 Euro from 2008 to 2016 and it hit its minimum of 33 069 950 Euro in 2010.
