Import of quartzite and slabs to Spain: Decline in 2016

In comparison with the previous year import of quartzite and slabs greatly fell by 31.8 percent, according to updated data issued by United Nations Statistical Office. Import of quartzite and slabs dropped strongly from 5 588 921 kilogram in 2015 to 3 811 472 kilogram prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it declined by 4.23 percent. Spain saw a rise of 169.14% in import of quartzite and slabs over the past 28 years. Still it has shown a negative compound annual growth rate of 0.06 percent during the five years with a negligible overall growth since the 1989. It averaged 5 560 112.82 kilogram from 1989 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 18 304 072 kilogram in 2007 and record low of 225 919 kilogram in 1993.
