Export of plain weave cotton of yarns of different colours containing more than 85% by weight of cotton weighing more than 200 g/m2 from Latvia: Decline in 2016

The indicator strongly declined by 48.03 percent compared to the prior year, refreshed numbers from United Nations Statistical Office display. The variable decreased sharply from 2 975 US Dollar in 2015 to 1 546 US Dollar previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it fell by 33.15%. Latvia saw a raise of 27.66% in cotton export over the past 19 years. Though, it has attained a decrease at a 0.41 percent compound annual growth rate over the last five years with a slight overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 22 163.79 US Dollar from 1998 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 101 160 US Dollar in 2006 and record low of 71 US Dollar in 2003.
