Flax yarn import fell strongly by 35.15 percent compared to the prior year, new figures from European Commission illustrate. The variable greatly declined from 242 020 Euro in 2015 to 156 960 Euro previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it dropped by 36.53 percent. Portugal saw a growth of 91.62% in flax yarn import over the past 12 years. As well as it has had a rise at a 0.04% compound annual growth rate over the five years with a modest overall raise since the 2005. It averaged 138 484.17 Euro from 2005 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 381 340 Euro in 2014 and record low of 32 500 Euro in 2006.
