Fuel oil consumption in production and distribution of water in China: Increase in 2015

In 2015 fuel oil consumption greatly rose by 50 percent, updated figures from China National Statistical Office highlight. The indicator sharply climbed from 0.02 ten thousand metric ton to 0.03 ten thousand metric ton, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went up by 100%. China saw a rise of 200% in fuel oil consumption during the last 16 years. Moreover, the fuel oil consumption is now smaller than its average which equals 0.09 ten thousand metric ton and the variable demonstrates a overall stagnation since the 2000. It hit its all-time high of 0.56 ten thousand metric ton in 2008 and record low of 0.01 ten thousand metric ton in 2013.
