Import of sets of hand tools put up in sets for retail sale to Fiji: Decrease in 2016

Construction equipment import strongly decreased by 41.69% in comparison with the previous year, adjusted figures from United Nations Statistical Office illustrate. The variable declined sharply from 37 344 kilogram in 2015 to 21 776 kilogram prior year, contrarily to the previous year when it increased by 510.89%. The overall changes for the prior 15 years reached a decline of 7.69%. Furthermore, it has had a 0.19 percent CAGR during the five years with a negligible overall drop since the start of observations. It averaged 18 641.8 kilogram from 2002 to 2016 and it attained its all-time high of 55 268 kilogram in 2005 and record low of 4 904 kilogram in 2008.
