Import of live carp to Macao: Decrease in 2016

In 2016 the indicator decreased slightly by 2.49%, refreshed figures from United Nations Statistical Office pinpoint. Carp import negligibly went down by 106 296 kilogram, in contrast to the prior year when it climbed by 4.31 percent. Macao saw an increase of 1 562.72% in carp import over the past 26 years. Besides, it has had the average annual growth rate of 0.04% during the 5 years with a negligible overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 1 201 138.35 kilogram from 1991 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 4 271 344 kilogram in 2015 and record low of 1 686 kilogram in 2005.
