Export of butyric acids and valeric acids from Serbia climbs in 2016

United Nations Statistical Office reported that in 2016 organic chemicals export strongly increased by 900%. Organic chemicals export went up sharply from 5 kilogram in 2015 to 50 kilogram prior year, in contrast to the previous year when it went down by 66.67%. Serbia saw a decrease of 90.38% in organic chemicals export during the last 11 years. Furthermore, it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.44% over the five years with a modest overall drop since the start of time series. It averaged 716.45 kilogram from 2006 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 3 087 kilogram in 2010 and record low of 2 kilogram in 2009.
