Andalusite production in South Africa drops in 2016

Compared to the year before the indicator dropped by 5%, updated data from Industrial Minerals Magazine demonstrate. Andalusite production went down by 10 000 metric ton, when it didn't change by 0%. South Africa saw a decline of 19.58% in andalusite production over the past 19 years. As well as it has attained the compound average annual growth rate of 0.03% over the five years with a negligible overall diminution since the start of observations. It averaged 195 735.63 metric ton from 1998 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 264 645 metric ton in 2007 and record low of 136 949 metric ton in 1999.
