New vehicles registrations in Vietnam decreases in 2017

OICA announced that in 2017 vehicle registration went down negligibly by 0.83%. Vehicle registration barely decreased from 271 833 in 2016 to 269 570 prior year, versus the previous year when it rose by 30.33%. Vietnam saw an increase of 664.43% in vehicle registration over the past 13 years. Likewise, it has attained the compound annual growth rate of 0.23 percent over the five years with a slight overall growth since the 2005. It averaged 128 748.77 from 2005 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 271 833 in 2016 and record low of 35 264 in 2005.
