Import of salicylic acid, salts to Iceland grows in 2017

United Nations Statistical Office published that the variable sharply increased by 228.86 percent in comparison to the prior year. The indicator climbed strongly from 112 kilogram in 2016 to 368.32 kilogram previous year, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it grew by 2 140 percent. Iceland saw a decrease of 88.85% in salicylic acid import over the past 30 years. Moreover, it has attained the average annual growth rate of 0.14% during the last 5 years with a modest overall drop since the 1988. It averaged 1 344.94 kilogram from 1988 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 4 018 kilogram in 1992 and record low of 4 kilogram in 2008.
