Sales of animal or vegetable fats and oils chemically modified in Sweden declines in 2016

Compared with the same time a year ago edible oil sales fell by 24.64 percent, according to updated statistics announced by European Commission. Edible oil sales went down by 211.6 thousand kilograms, in contrast to the prior year when it increased by 282.66%. The overall changes for the previous 20 years reached a raise of 154.76%. Besides, it has shown a increase at a 0.11% CAGR during the five years with a marginal overall decline since the start of observations. It averaged 689.09 thousand kilograms from 1997 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 2 027.8 thousand kilograms in 2006 and record low of 143.4 thousand kilograms in 2002.
