Export of shelled hazelnuts and filberts from Ireland: Drop in 2017

Compared with 2016 hazelnuts export strongly dropped by 41.41 percent, new numbers from United Nations Statistical Office present. Hazelnuts export declined greatly from 75 128.86 US Dollar to 44 018.31 US Dollar, as it follows the tendency of the prior year when it went down by 77.67 percent. Ireland saw a fall of 41.82% in hazelnuts export during the last 26 years. Besides, it has attained a 0.18% average annual growth rate over the last five years with a modest overall raise since the 1992.
