Import of siliceous fossil meals and earths to Ethiopia grows in 2016

Import of siliceous fossil meals and earths climbed sharply by 38.39% in comparison with the previous year, according to figures issued by United Nations Statistical Office. Import of siliceous fossil meals and earths strongly rose from 279 538 kilogram in 2015 to 386 855 kilogram prior year, compared to the previous year when it diminished by 35.23%. The overall changes for the prior 22 years attained a raise of 853.01%. However, it has had a negative average annual growth rate of 0.11 percent over the last 5 years with a slight overall increase since the start of time series. It averaged 354 780.86 kilogram from 1995 to 2016 and it reached its all-time high of 680 081 kilogram in 2012 and record low of 24 437 kilogram in 1999.
