Import of smoked fish to Finland: Decrease in 2016

According to new figures issued by European Commission, compared with the prior year processed fish import went down greatly by 41.07 percent. The indicator fell sharply from 620 100 kilogram in 2015 to 365 400 kilogram previous year, versus the prior year when it increased by 6.4%. Finland saw a rise of 55.49% in processed fish import over the past 5 years. As well as it has attained the average annual growth rate of 0.09 percent during the five years with a slight overall growth since the start of time series. It averaged 438 500 kilogram from 2012 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 620 100 kilogram in 2015 and record low of 235 000 kilogram in 2012.
