Export of footwear with upper straps or thongs assembled to the sole by means of plugs from Pakistan: Decrease in 2016

According to statistics published by United Nations Statistical Office, in comparison with the same time an year ago the variable strongly dropped by 46.33 percent. Footwear export went down sharply by 4 851 kilogram, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it declined by 63.97 percent. Pakistan saw a rise of 132.91% in footwear export over the past 14 years. Still it has had a drop at a 0.22 percent compound average annual growth rate during the 5 years with a marginal overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 13 013.07 kilogram from 2003 to 2016 and it hit its all-time high of 46 831 kilogram in 2005 and record low of 295 kilogram in 2008.
