Re-export of fresh or chilled onions and shallots from Canada drops in 2017

According to data announced by United Nations Statistical Office, the indicator sharply declined by 80.65% in comparison to the previous year. Onions export diminished strongly from 451 837 kilogram in 2016 to 87 428 kilogram prior year, in comparison with the previous year when it rose by 292.41%. Canada saw a raise of 83.76% in onions export during the last 18 years. Furthermore, it has had a growth at a 0.17 percent compound average annual growth rate over the last five years with a modest overall rise since the start of observations. It averaged 59 905.17 kilogram from 2000 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 451 837 kilogram in 2016 and record low of 6 993 kilogram in 2006.
