Sold production of fresh or chilled whole chickens in Slovakia: Decrease in 2017

European Commission announced that chicken sold production dropped negligibly by 1.1 percent compared to the prior year. The indicator went down slightly by 319 272 Euro, contrarily to the previous year when it grew by 5.81 percent. Slovakia saw a raise of 64.26% in chicken sold production over the past 20 years. However, it has had a decline at a 0.02 percent CAGR during the last five years with a negligible overall growth since the 1998. It averaged 23 457 246.5 Euro from 1998 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 34 533 300 Euro in 2008 and record low of 18 035 Euro in 1999.
