Natural gas deliveries for electricity and heat generation in Estonia: Diminution in May 2018

Natural gas delivery strongly dropped by 70.77 percent in comparison to the prior month, new statistics from JODI Data indicate. The variable decreased greatly from 1 300 terajoule to 380 terajoule, as it follows the tendency of the previous month when it declined by 19.75 percent. The prior year, this fluctuation attained -45.4 percent and the natural gas delivery hit 445 terajoule in May of the year before. This pinpoints a -14.61% variation between May 2017 and the same month in 2018. Estonia saw a decrease of 4.28% in natural gas delivery over the past 7 years. Likewise, the natural gas delivery is now smaller than its average which equals 797.72 terajoule with a slight overall fall since the start of time series. It reached its all-time high of 3 367 terajoule in February 2012 and record low of 75 terajoule in August 2016.
