Import of sets of hand tools put up in sets for retail sale to Namibia decreases in 2016

In 2016 construction equipment import strongly declined by 56.05%, according to numbers issued by United Nations Statistical Office. The indicator dropped sharply by 2 627 393 US Dollar, compared to the prior year when it grew by 18.11 percent. Namibia saw a growth of 136.95% in construction equipment import during the last 17 years. Though, it has had a negative compound average annual growth rate of 0.16 percent over the last 5 years with a marginal overall increase since the start of observations.
